Jeff Howard

General Foremen/Safety Supervisor

Jeff Howard comes from a military background. He was in the reserves for 4 years followed by 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces (Infantry). He left the armed forces as a Sargent. He was a team leader, instructor and trainer during his time serving our country.

In the spring of 1996 he got involved in the tree care industry. He started out operating a stump grinder removing stumps from peoples yards and doing residential tree pruning and removal. In the spring of 1997 he became a crew foreman in charge of residential work. In the spring of 1998 he became a certified Utility Tree Trimmer, specializing in residential climbing and bucket work and recognized as a removal specialist.

In the fall of 2007 he came on board with Arbor-Tech Utility Services Ltd. as a crew foreman for tree trimming and removals, slashing, pre-mow and mulching operations, specializing in danger tree removal. He holds Arbormaster Level 1 & 2 certifications in climbing and rigging. He recently took on the position of General Foreman/Safety Supervisorand is responsible for crew visits, field training of apprentices and new hires, and safety supervision for our various contracts.

Jeff has a passion for the outdoors with his favorite hobbies being hunting and fishing.
